Gucci Mane To Release 10 albums In 2013

Gucci Mane has a goal to release 10 albums next year, adding that he already has about 40 percent of it recorded.

It appears Gucci Mane will have quite a busy 2013. According to Gucci, his fans can expect 10 albums next year. In a recent interview with Billboard's The Juice, he shared that this is his goal for the new year, noting that approximately 40 percent of that material has already been recorded.

"My goal is to drop 10 projects in 2013," Gucci shared. "All albums. I gotta do it. I know the 10 projects I want to drop...I got a lot of work to do. We collectively have a lot of work to do, but we're ready to work."

Gucci also explained that he felt the need to do this after realizing that 2012 has been more of a "rebuilding" year for his camp.

"I feel like this was a rebuilding year for me, and my whole record label," he noted. "Waka [Flocka Flame] dropped a great album, but at the same time, I feel like it didn't get the push it deserved. So I said, 'This is the year I'm gonna power myself up and build my war chest, and regroup for next year.'"

While fans may be waiting for those 10 albums to come next year, he's still releasing music this year. Gucci already has Trap God coming out on October 17, a mixtape that will feature Waka Flocka Flame, Rick Ross and Meek Mill, among others.
